The TANF Family Housing Program provides short-term assistance to eligible families experiencing a temporary housing crisis. TANF Family Housing helps families achieve and maintain stable housing by providing support with security deposits, utility expenses, rental assistance, mortgage payments, and rental arrears. Assistance is intended to address a one-time, short-term crisis identified through an individualized assessment and to help families regain stability and move toward greater housing security. Eligible families receive individualized case management focused on housing stability and employment support
